kanye West‘s rants maybe just as famous as he is and in 2014 he has vowed to 1) keep his mouth closed and 2) stay away from controversy .. wait for it .. wait for it .. wait for it .. bwahhahahahahahahahahah !! Kanye is going to have to treat me like I’m from St. Louis and SHOW ME ! (St. Louis = show me state .. get it??)
Coincidentally, footage of Kanye going into a 27-minute RANT proclaiming he has changed his ways has surfaced.
With less than a week to go until New Year’s Eve, Kanye West has already made a New Year’s resolution — and it may shock you. The big-mouthed rapper announced he would “keep his mouth shut” and avoid controversial comments “for six months, at least” in his latest rant during the last stop of his Yeezus Tour in Toronto on December 23. “Everything I”m saying that’s not allowed, soak it in right now,” he warned fans early on in the 27-minute rant. “…This might be the last time y’all hear me talk sh*t for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and sh*t if you wanna hear some realness!” (RadarOnline)
Kanye has also promised to no longer speak about Nike nor the Grammy’s in a negative light.
“I’m gonna tell y’all right now,” he said, “that all of the ideas, what they call the rants the streams of consciousness that I express, I told y’all, save those tapes and everything because I’ve decided to completely focus everything in 2014, on new ideas and on creative outlets. I’m not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light … I’ll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win.” (RadarOnline)
Personally, I feel like old habits are hard to break, but if Kanye is to continue to keep his working relationship with Adidas in tact, he will have to make those changes he spoke about. Adidas is quite serious about how its brand is represented and rants, even on social media, is just not accepted. This he knows is true, as his G.O.O.D. Music artist Teyana Taylor was dropped by Adidas for a social media spat with Rihanna.
